A. Groh Schneider, F.D.
A. Groh Schneider graduated from Germantown Academy in 1962 and went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Muhlenberg College in 1966. Following college, he enrolled in Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where he graduated in 1967 with honors and was the recipient of the Mu Sigma Alpha Award presented by the National Association of Colleges of Mortuary Science in recognition of his outstanding academic proficiency.
He served his internship at his father’s funeral home in Hatboro and assisted his grandfather (Walter A. A. Schneider) at his funeral home in the Olney Section of Philadelphia. Groh received his Pennsylvania Funeral Directors License in 1969 and continued to work along with both his father and grandfather until 1972 when he purchased the Hatboro funeral home from his father.
He has held memberships in the Hatboro Jaycees, the Enterprise Fire Company and Rescue Unit, and has been a member of the Hatboro Rotary Club since 1968.
Timothy R. Kida, F.D.
Tim was born and raised in Delaware County. He has been serving the Hatboro-Horsham community as a Funeral Director at Schneider Funeral Home since 2002. He received his Pennsylvania State Board of Funeral Directors license in
2002 and prior to that had attended California University of Pennsylvania.
Tim is a Charter member of the Hatboro-Horsham Kiwanis Club and a parishioner at St. John Bosco Church. He enjoys playing hockey and can be found playing at local rinks.
Brandt Schneider, F.D.
Brandt Schneider was born and raised in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in 2003. He then attended Shippensburg University and transferred to Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He graduated in 2007.
Brandt received his Pennsylvania State Board of
Funeral Directors license and he is proud to work alongside his father,
Groh and associate, Tim Kida. Brandt represents the fifth generation of
Schneider Funeral Home and will continue to uphold the personalized
service that has been a trademark of Schneider Funeral Home since 1870.
