Bernice H. Shafer

Bernice H. Shafer of Warminster, PA passed away on May 17, 2019 with her husband and daughters by her side. She was the beloved wife of Meade Shafer with whom she had shared 51 years of marriage. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Freida and Anthony Kukulski.

After graduating from Olney High School she went to work at Bell Telephone in Philadelphia. She later worked at Quality Control Labs then Tottser Tool and Die where she became Office Manager, retiring after 30 years.

In addition to her husband, Meade, Bernice is survived by her two daughters, Sheryl Edwards of Hatboro, Michele Krouch (Steve) of Haddon Township, NJ, 3 grandchildren, Stefanie Muldoon (Matt), Chris Edwards (Kari) and Megan Krouch along with 5 great-grandchildren, Grant, Avery, Audrey, Emmy and Ethan.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday May 23, 2019, after 10 am at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 York Road, Hatboro, PA., and to attend her Funeral Service at 11 am. Her internment will follow at Lawnview Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Bernice's memory to American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street, Suite 2820, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
