Ernest Chatburn, Jr. Obituary

Ernest C. Chatburn, Jr., of Hatboro, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019. He was 80. He was the loving husband of over 55 years to Barbara (nee Sheetz) Chatburn. Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest C. Chatburn, Sr. and Mabel Chatburn (nee Moon).

Ernest was a proud Vietnam Era Veteran of the United States Army. One of his favorite hobbies was to go fishing with his sons.

In addition to his wife, Ernest is survived by his sons, Ernest Lee Chatburn (Tresha), Michael Chatburn, and Brian Chatburn (Lisa); his two granddaughters; and his sister, Mildred Wood. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Mabel Lear and Patricia Frankenfield.

His services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at https://www.stjude.org/donate/.
