Joan B. Hazzard

Joan B. Hazzard (nee Slack), passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019.  She was 90.  Joan was the beloved wife of the late Ken Bridge and the late Stephen Hazzard.

Joan was born and grew up in Crewe, England.  Her childhood family’s pub was both the community center and a bomb shelter through World War II.  With her first husband, Ken, Joan lived in England and Malaysia, before finally moving to the US.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Sally Seeton (Jim); her son, David Bridge (Catherine); her 5 grandchildren; her brother, Bob Slack; and Jane Bolier.

Joan’s services will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan’s name to Compassus Hospice, 601 W. Office Center Drive, Suite 125, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
