John R. Mignon, Sr

John R. Mignon Sr. of Warrington passed away suddenly Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. He was 70. Born in Abington, John was a son of the late Michael J. and Helen (Mackenzie) Mignon.

John was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, where he was an exceptional athlete. He accepted a football scholarship to Virginia Tech before deciding to raise a family. He was employed with Unisys for more than 20 years, followed by a long career in sales. Outside of work, John enjoyed hunting, working outside in the garden, and spending time with family and friends.

John is survived by his sons, John Jr., Ken (Lisa), Ron, and Craig Mignon (Donna); his grandchildren, Dominic, Anthony, Paul, Juliana, Isabella, Joseph, Sofia, Ava, and Vincent; his sisters, Joanne Naper, and Linda Prentice; and his brother, Mickey Mignon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing after 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and after 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, in St. Joseph Church, County Line and Easton Roads, Warrington. His Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
