John R. Spengler

John Raymond Spengler of Ambler passed away on September 2, 2019 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 89.John was the beloved husband of the late Datha Marie Spengler, with whom he shared over 56 years of marriage.  He was born in Brooklyn NY, a son of the late John Albert and Catherine Spengler

He is survived by three children, Steve Spengler (Lois) of Telford PA, John E. Spengler (Donna) of Canal Winchester OH and Carolyn Peth of Lansdale, PA; nine grandchildren, Beverly, Kimberly, Justin, Benjamin, Joshua, Jonathan Jarred, Tony, Tanya; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild . In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Datha Marie and brother Ernest.

Relatives and friends are will be received by his family on Sept 28, 2019 in Gwynedd Estates 301 Norristown Road, Ambler, PA 19002 after 10:30 AM followed by his Memorial Service at  11:00 am.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's memory may be made to the Abington SPCA, 1006 Edgehill Road, Abington, PA 19001 or to any pet shelter.
