Mary Beth Lute

Mary Beth Lute of Roslyn passed away on December 30, 2019. She was 52 years old. Mary was the beloved wife of Michael A. Lute with whom she had shared 13 years of marriage. Mary was born in Philadelphia the daughter of John N. and Joanne F. Lightner, Jr.

After graduating from Abington High School in 1985, Mary started her career in Electronics and then over 20 years in the Financial Industry currently working at Wells Fargo Advisor in Jenkintown. Mary loved to dance, sing and she enjoyed going camping, on cruises, volunteering, shopping and spending time with her family and friends especially her nieces and nephews and she will be remembered for her infectious laugh, smile and her caring nature . Mary touched many lives and the world will be less bright, Heaven got an Angel. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband and parents Mary is survived by her sister Laurel Ann (Gary) Backert, brother John J. (Carrie Ann) Lightner, Sr., father and mother in-law Carl "Mickey" and Pearl Lute, brother and sister in-law Jimmy and Sandy Neumeister, seven nieces and nephews; Robbie Herter, Dianna Monaghan, Jaime Timmons, Matthew Backert, John J. Lightner, Jr., Ryan Backert and Abigail Lightner, four great nieces and nephews; Brooke, Patrick,  Michael Monaghan and Gavin Nouzovsky as well as her aunt Christine Kennedy, Aunt Joan and Uncle George Lauber, and cousins.

Relatives  and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 3pm to 6pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and to attend her Prayer service at 6pm. Her interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, P.O. Box 781352 Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352 in remembrance of  Mary Beth.
