Maureen A. Parrella

Maureen A. Parrella of Horsham passed away on February 10, 2019 at the age of 62. She was the beloved wife of Victor F. Parrella, Jr. with whom she celebrated over 40 years of marriage. Maureen was born in Abington, PA, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (nee McArdle) Duncan.

Maureen was a graduate of Temple University earning her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology. She held many management positions in the retail and restaurant industries. Maureen also loved spending time with her family and friends. She was well known for her Culinary skills especially regarding her always requested Spaghetti sauce & meatballs, her famous Butter Cake, and Jewish Apple Cake at Christmas. Maureen won three disco dance contests in the 1970's with her husband. She was known as Maureen, Rene, Mo, and most lovingly, as Momo to her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Maureen is survived by two children; Courtney Worthington and her husband Johnny, Carlina Tancredi and her husband Rudy, two grandchildren; Alessia and Jackson, brothers and sisters; Kathleen, Pat, Jane, Mike, Joan, Tom, Catherine, John, Tom, Jim, Irene, Joe and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents Maureen was preceded in death by her brother, Dan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday, February 17th after 6:00 p.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro followed by her Funeral Service at 8:00 p.m. Her private family interment will follow on Monday.
