Shari L. Huston

It is with great sadness that the family of Shari Huston reports her passing on May 30, 2019, due to complications from ovarian cancer. She was a devoted wife of almost 40 years to Thomas, loving mother to Melissa and Marianne (Brian), and an amazing grandmother to Jocelynn, Owen, Christopher and Sophia. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will not be forgotten.

She was born to George and Ruth Huston in 1950 and grew up in New Jersey. After exploring the world, Shari met her husband and settled down in Connecticut, where she worked for many years at The Hartford. Shari eventually retired to Pennsylvania to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Everyone who knew Shari will tell you that she was a nurturer by nature who always had a kind word or helping hand for everyone she met. She loved to travel, read and play number games but most of all, she loved to be surrounded by her family.

Please join her family in remembering Shari on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 after 6:00 PM until the time of her memorial service at 7:00 PM in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. A Celebration of Life will also be held in late July, with details to be provided at a later date.
