A. Frederick Powell

A. Frederick Powell of Jamison, PA, passed away on 2/26/25 at the age of 102.

He was the husband of the late Pearl L. Powell (Lopez), They shared 68 years of marriage and loved traveling the world together.

Fred served in the Army during WW II from February, 1946 until February, 1949. Once he returned home, he took over the family business (Powell’s Electric Co. of Hatboro, PA), until his retirement in 1989. Fred was known for his community service work with the Hatboro Rotary Club. His quick wit and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

Fred is survived by his 2 children, June Powell of New Britian, PA and Doug Powell of Jamison, PA, His beloved granddaughter Heather Bell (Joshua) and 2 great grandchildren, Madison Bell and Sawyer Bell.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Fred’s visitation on Thursday March 6th after 10:00 am in Sunset Memorial Park’s Chapel of Peace, 333 County Line Road, Southampton and are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 10:30 am followed by his Committal Service.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arbor Day Foundation HERE or the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Oncology Department HERE.
