Ornay and Jeannette were active members of the GTV Almrausch Bavarian folk dance group, as well as the Bayerischer Volksfest Verein and Cannstatter Volksfest Verein.

Adolph is survived by a son, Doug Placek and his wife, Katherine; a daughter, Sharon (Placek) Silvestrini and her husband, Edward; two granddaughters, Regina Silvestrini and Kristina Placek.

The family will have a private graveside service. Extended family and friends will be invited to a “Remembrance Celebration” at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Adolph’s memory to Wesley Enhanced Living Foundation
