Alan R. Bock of Hatboro passed away on July 1, 2023. He was 77 years old. Alan was the beloved husband of the late Mary R. Bock (McLay) with whom he had shared over 47 years of marriage. He was born in Patterson, NJ a son of the late Max and Hildegard Bock (Rehm).
Alan is survived by a niece; Judy Bock and a great nephew; Joe Bock. In addition to his wife and parents Alan was predeceased by brother, Norman Bock and nephew William Bock.
Alan lived and was active in the Hatboro community for many years, working for Jarrett Dodge for nearly 50 years prior to retirement. He loved cars, whether driving, fixing, or restoring them. He was a dedicated friend who would help out anyone in need and could be found tinkering with anything mechanical or electrical. Alan also proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Alan cared for and deeply missed his beloved Shelties who he affectionately referred to as "his girls."
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Thursday after 12:00 pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, PA followed by his Memorial Service at 1:00 pm. His interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
