Anne M. Winter of Hatboro, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2026. She was 90 years old and passed away peacefully at home. Anne was born in Queens, New York, the daughter of the late Charles and Carmela Wenderoth.
Anne went to Rhode Island University and started her career in the airline industry. She loved to fly to all the places she had dreamed of seeing. She then went into the teaching field, followed by running her father’s famous Northport 5 & 10 store. Anne’s life was defined by two great loves: Her faith in God and her devotion to her family. She enjoyed working in her garden and going out to restaurants with her friends. She liked playing cards, doing tai chi, going on bus trips and seeing plays in NYC. She had a great sense of fashion and loved writing letters to friends and family.
Anne is survived by her loving daughter, Christin and son-in-law, Joe, two wonderful grandchildren, Sharon and Michelle, and four precious great grandchildren, Juliana, Brayden, Caleb and Carson.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10:30 am until 11:30 am and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:30 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. Her interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation to help save the earth by planting trees.
