Ardis "Hap" Brookshire

Ardis “Hap” Brookshire, of Willow Grove, passed away on Tuesday June 15, 2021, she was 81 years old. She was the caring and loving wife of the late Donald C. Brookshire.

Ardis worked for many years at Homemakers Fabric store in Willow Grove. She then went to work with her husband to help him with his insurance agency in Willow Grove. After the closing of the family business, she worked for Main Street Hatboro where she worked with local business to help build town spirit. And then at her last home, The Landings of Willow Grove, she continued to help others come together by starting a General Store for the residents there which will be named in remembrance of her as “Haps General Store”.

She is survived by her children, Scott Brookshire and Michael Brookshire, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.  

Her service was private with family members and she was laid to rest next to her husband.
