Barbara K Landis of Harleysville passed away peacefully on Friday, December 31, 2021 at the age of 88. She was born in Telford to the late Earl A. and Amanda A. (Fox) Keyser.
Barbara graduated from Souderton High School class of 1951, and became a cosmetologist, owning her shop within the home. Residing in Telford and later Franconia she raised four children and always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She resided in Harleysville for the last 41 years and enjoyed baking with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching All My Children and cheering on the Phillies. She also enjoyed square dancing with her husband for over ten years and enjoyed traveling. Barbara and her husband just celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in June. She was known as Gran and GG by her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband Herman Landis, sons Bruce Landis (Judi), Dale Landis (Donna), and a daughter Barbara Landis (Stan), grandchildren Rachelle Lynette (Andrew), Jennifer Williams (Robert), Jessica Landis, Andrew Landis, Jonathon Landis (Jessica), Brandon Landis, Jason Landis (Heather). Great grandchildren Braeden, Robbie, Chad, Max, Rowan, Claire and Peyton.
She was preceded in death by a beloved sister Betty Lederach and a beloved daughter Sandra O’Neill.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, January 8th after 11am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and to attend her Funeral Service at 12:30pm.
