Barbara Anne (Richards) Mignogna passed peacefully into heaven on Friday, Feb 15, 2019 with her family and friends by her side after a courageous battle with ALS. Barbara was married to the late Orie Mignogna, and she was the daughter of the late Emery V. & Florence (Hunton) Richards.
Born and raised in Hatboro, PA, Barbara graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in 1952. A few years after Barbara and Orie married, they moved their growing family to Warrington in 1955, after living on Elbow Lane for 60 years, Barbara moved to Virginia before returning back to PA in Dec 2018.
Barbara enjoyed gardening, quilting, playing Scrabble and spending time with her family, as well as entertaining at her home on the back deck, serving everyone’s favorite tuna & macaroni salad.

Barbara is survived by her children, Susan Nyce, Stephen Mignogna, Stanley Mignogna, Sandra Kerwood, and Scott Mignogna, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Jessie Labbe, Emery Richards, Donald Richards, and Dottie Creamer; her sister-in-law Aurora Birmingham, and her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Barbara tirelessly provided the word of God to all she met, wanting salvation for all. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Hatboro Gospel Hall Sunday School and Children’s Meetings, 23 W. Moreland Ave, Hatboro, PA 19040.
Family and friends are invited to Barbara’s viewing on Monday, Feb 25, 2019 at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro from 9:00 am to 10:30 am with a short service to follow. Interment will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
