Bernadette E. Sparks

Bernadette E. Sparks (Addison) of Warminster passed away on November 2, 2023 with her family by her side. She was 86 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late John C. Sparks with whom she had shared 30 years of marriage. Bernadette was born in Melrose Park, PA a daughter of the late Robert Addison and Bernadette Conte.

Bernadette worked as a crossing guard for the Warminster Police Department and for Nativity of Our Lord School for over 40 years. She cherished that job and did it better than anyone else. Bernadette and her late husband who was a Warminster Police Officer, played Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for the Centennial School district and Hartsville Fire Company for many years. They brought many smiles to children’s faces every Christmas. Bernadette lived with her daughter and son-in-law for over 25 years until she moved into Masonic Village in Warminster. She will be missed by many people but will be remembered and loved by many.

Bernadette is survived by her children, Colleen E. Moritz (Kenneth) and Raymond J. Cassidy, four grandchildren, Kenneth L. Moritz, Jr. (Carly), Megan M. Oskiera (Jason), Raymond J. Cassidy, Jr and Nicole Cassidy and five beautiful great grandchildren.

At Bernadette’s request her Graveside Service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernadette’s name to Masonic Village, Treat Relief Fund, 850 Norristown Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
