Bonnie R. (Kotsch) Leason

Bonnie (nee KOTSCH) Leason, of Southampton, PA passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the age of 81 . Bonnie was a 1958 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia and confidently ventured out into the work world immediately upon graduation. A renowned and respected Executive Assistant, Bonnie served as support for the upper executives at various companies such as Campbell Soup Co, Crown Cork & Seal, Queen Casuals, and Friends Hospital where she retired from in 2005. Bonnie was described by a former CEO as “fiercely loyal and incredibly independent”.  Always active and vibrant, Bonnie was an avid reader; enjoyed summer getaways with family at Ocean City NJ, a loving cat Mommy to Boo, a Nature and Animal enthusiast, huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, and Southampton Public Library supporter.

Bonnie beamed with pride whenever discussing her beloved son, nieces, great-nieces and nephews that she treated like grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruth Kotsch, she is survived by her loving son, Daniel Leason and his wife Susan, Brother Henry G. Kotsch and his wife Ann, Niece Karin Cantymagli and her husband Brian, their children, Megan MacKenzie and Patrick Schumacher and their children Evy and Oscar, Dustin MacKenzie and his wife Jess, Sarah Cantymagli, and Niece Wendy Lewis.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Tuesday, December 20th after 11am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 1pm. Her interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Feasterville.

In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make memorial contributions in Bonnie's name to the Southampton Public Library, 947 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966.
