Bruce Thome, a 20-year resident of Warminster, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 86 years old. Bruce was the husband of the late Patricia Thome, and of the late Sandra Thome. Born in Lebanon, PA, he was the son of the late Landis and Catherine Thome.
Bruce is survived by his loving children, Steven Thome (Trina) and Michael Thome (Maggie); his cherished grandchildren, Shawn (Jaclyn), Ashley (Christopher), Evan (Samantha), and Trevor (Tyler); and his adored great-grandchildren, Raelynn, Josephine, Jack, and Vivian. In addition to his wives and parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his siblings Joe, Jay, Pat, and Ned.
A proud U.S. Navy Veteran, Bruce was a longtime member of American Legion Post 798. He dedicated many years of hard work to Bethlehem Steel before retiring, after which he happily traded steel beams for green fairways, spending his days cutting grass at Hershey Country Club. His time on the course strengthened his lifelong love of golf and brought him great joy. Bruce was also an enthusiastic sports fan, cheering passionately for the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. Above all, he treasured being involved in the athletic lives of his children and grandchildren—watching, supporting, and celebrating their achievements on and off the field.
Services and interment for Bruce will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bruce’s memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org.
