Carol M. King of Hatboro formerly of Warminster went to be with her Lord on May 12, 2024 at Abington Jefferson Hospital where she was greeted by her loving husband Bob and daughter Melissa. She was 81. She was the beloved wife of Bob whom she shared 26 years of marriage. She was born in Easton the daughter of the late Walter and Hazel Kichline.
After graduating from Wilson Borough High School, Carol attended Millersville University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She started her teaching career in the Central Bucks School District and retired from her profession at the Meadowbrook School in Abington. Carol worked in many of the surrounding school districts as a substitute teacher after giving up her full-time job in order to become her favorite profession as a Mom.
Besides her husband Bob, Carol's passions in life were her daughters Michelle and Melissa. She never complained throughout the years of having to get up at God awful hours of the morning to support them either on the soccer field or poolside cheering them on. Then Carol's world changed when she got the gift of becoming Nana to her 5 grandchildren Morgan, Nick, Ashley, Erin and Robbie. Then the mayhem of trying to get to all of their events began.
Carol was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hatboro for many years where she taught Sunday school and served on Church Council. Carol was a kind and compassionate person who would help anyone in need if she was able.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Bob and daughter Melissa. She is survived by her daughter Michelle and her husband Shawn, son-in-law John and her grandchildren Morgan, Nick, Ashley, Erin and Robbie.
