Carol Ann Stambaugh (nee Evans), of North Wales, formerly a lifelong resident of Hatboro, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the age of 76. She was the loving wife of the late Harold R. Stambaugh. Born in Coaldale, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl (nee Stevens) Evans.
Carol was a member of the Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern Star, Morning Light Chapter # 312 and the Southampton Slipper Club. She belonged to several bowling leagues over the years, and is where she met her late husband, Harold. Carol and Harold also both enjoyed volunteering at the Masonic Village at Warminster.
Carol is survived by two daughters, Beth Patterson and Denise Fields; their husbands, Bob Patterson and Rex Fields; four grandchildren, Brittany Berardi and her husband, Michael, Tori Patterson, Collin Fields, and Connor Patterson; and a great-grandchild, Luca Berardi.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with an Eastern Star Service being held at 7:30 p.m.; and again on Monday, September 20, 2021 after 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Her interment will be held privately at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials in Carol's memory be made to the Masonic Village Treat Fund, 850 Norristown Road, Warminster, PA, 18974.
