Celeste Billett Obituary
Celeste A. Billett of Taylor, PA, formerly of McAdoo, PA passed away on September 1, 2020 at Abington Jefferson Hospital. She was 57 years old. Celeste was born in Hazleton, PA a daughter of the late Philip S. and Valeria (Scarba) Billett.
Celeste was a 1980 graduate of Marian Catholic High School in Hometown, PA. She was a former employee with Geisinger Corporate offices at Glenmaura, Moosic, PA. Celeste enjoyed travel and watching classic films. She loved animals, adopting several rescues and supporting the local shelters.
She is survived by a sister Louise Buber of Horsham, with whom she resided since 2019, a brother Thomas Billett of Los Angeles, a dear friend Joseph Schlener of Kingston, an Uncle and Aunt Michael and Jeanne Scarba of Tresckow, and many cousins.
Celeste’s Funeral Mass and Burial were celebrated on September 4th in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Horsham and St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Celeste’s memory may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
