Charles H. Barnes, Jr.

Charles H. Barnes Jr. of Horsham passed away on December 13, 2021 at the age of 62. He was the beloved husband of Christine M. (nee Messina) with whom he shared over 25 years of marriage. He was born in Abington, Pennsylvania son of Mary (nee DeSumma) and the late Charles H. Barnes Sr.

In addition to his wife and mother, Charles is survived by four children: Matthew (Katie), Ashley Guarino, John (Allison) Reidinger Jr., and Joseph. As well as eight grandchildren: Chase, Bryce, Mason, Johnnie, Luke, Lennon, Noah and Hazel. Also he is survived by his siblings: Joseph Barnes, Tami McCarty, Maribeth Hagelgans and Charlene Sims.

Charles loved watching football, playing in fantasy football leagues and playing golf with his son. He enjoyed spending summers with his family at their shore house. Charles also enjoyed his years coaching football for the Horsham Hawks.

Relatives and friends will be received by Charles‘ family on Saturday, December 18th at 11:00 AM in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, immediately followed by his memorial service at 1:00 PM in Schneider Funeral Home 431 N. York Road Hatboro. His interment will be private.
