Charles Noon Jr. Obituary

Charles A. Noon Jr., of Hatboro, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. He was 87 years old. Charles was the beloved husband of Judith E. Noon (nee Krout) with whom he had shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Ashland, PA, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Edna (nee Doyle) Noon.

Charles proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Following his service, he was a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service for over 30 years. Charles cherished his roots and loved visiting upstate Pennsylvania. He was a handyman and was always fixing things around the house. Charles was a devout Catholic and loved going to church and holding the doors for parishioners as they left Sunday Mass. He loved the Phillies and Penn State football. Above all else, he was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family and babysitting his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his children, Kimberly Noon, Kevin Noon (Melissa), and Kathryn McLaughlin (Mike); his grandchildren, Gavin, Brianna, Ava, Braden, and Jason; and his four sisters, Margaret, Leona, Ann Marie, and Mary Ellen. In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his brothers, William and Daniel.  

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Friday, February 19, 2021 after 10:00 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am in St. John Bosco Church, 215 E County Line Road, Warminster. His interment will immediately follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
