Christine L. Sorling

Christine Leslie Weaks Sorling of Wildwood New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, November 16 2022.She was 54 years old. Christine was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania , the fifth child of the late Bill and Judy Weaks. She was the widow of Michael Sorling.

Christine loved her work at Morey’s Piers on the Wildwood boardwalk, where she was awarded the Golden Microphone for enthusiastic invitations to play. In this, she followed her grandfather’s steps. He was a roustabout and barker who traveled with a carnival during the Great Depression.

Christine was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan well known for her dedication to her teams. She loved to go to games and to Rolling Stones concerts, where she enjoyed adding her voice to the chorus of the singing crowds.

Christine is survived by her sisters Karen Meehl of Hatboro, PA, Carol Cassidy of Highlands, NJ and Kelly Ann Mac Entee of New Britain, PA, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins which she loved.

Following Christine’s wishes, her cremated remains will be scattered by her sisters next summer.
