Claire Clancy Coleman

Claire Clancy Coleman of Warminster. PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025 with family by her side.  She was 86 years old. 

Her husband, Joseph V. Coleman preceded her in death (1985).  Claire is the mother of Joseph V. Coleman Jr.  (Kathleen Kohler), Michael D. Coleman (Laura Noonan), and predeceased by daughter Noreen C. Coleman (2025).  Grandmother to Nicholas, Matthew, Theo, Christopher, Philip and William.  She is survived by her sister, Rita Rosemill. She was predeceased by her sisters, Annamay King and E. Jane Ruane and her brothers, Jack and Vince Clancy.

Clarie attended Corpus Christi in Philadelphia, then onto Hallahan Catholic Girls High School and eventually earned her BS in Marketing from La Salle University.   At the age of 42, she entered the work force at Prudential in Horsham where she worked for over 20 years.

Clarie moved from Germantown to Warminster in 1970 and was part of the Deer Run Raiders, a famous street in Warminster with a long history of quality neighbors.  She enjoyed many picnics and Fourth of July parades and we still see many from Deer Run to this day.

Claire was very proud of her Irish heritage with both parents immigrating from Ireland in the early 1900s.   She was honored to be part of the opening of St. Robert Bellarmine in 1970 and was a member of the Afghan Club with the parish.

Her funeral mass will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
