Clark Anderson, of Horsham, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. He was 87 years old. Clark was the loving husband of Nancy M. Anderson (nee O’Hara) with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, Clark was the son of Albert and Catherine (nee Eggers) Hayes.
In addition to his wife, Clark is survived by his children, Nancy McHugh (the late Patrick) and Kenneth Anderson (Joanne); his grandchildren, Brendan (Madison), Dillon, Shannon, Colin, and Camryn McHugh and Tyler, Austin, Courtney, Hallie, and Dylan Anderson. He is also survived by a large extended family and many friends.
Clark proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a professional engineer for many years, and he was proud to have worked on the design and construction of Citizens Bank Park and the Roberts Proton Therapy Center. Clark was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Above it all, Clark was the North Star for his family. Nothing gave Clark more pride or more pleasure than his family. As an integral part of each one's life journey, Clark is lovingly remembered for offering his wisdom and detailed tutelage, beaming as each reached numerous academic milestones and earned academic accolades, cheering for them at countless sporting events, and embracing the many people he met through them.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 after 10:00 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. His interment will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 9:30 AM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
