Craig Fisher Obituary

Craig William Fisher of Warminster (formerly of Abington) passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. He was 86 years old. Craig was the beloved husband of the late Ingrid Marie Fisher with whom he had shared 53 years of marriage. He was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late William and Edith Fisher.

After graduating from Abington High School, he devoted 40 years of unwavering commitment to Abington Township as a civil servant, while at the same time living out his passion for engaging with people through sales as a fixture at the department store Strawbridge & Clothier. His life centered around the happiness that he shared with his family and friends. He loved the Philadelphia Philles, was a model train enthusiast, a lifelong member of the German American club Vereinigung Erzgebirge, and a proud Penn State grandpa.

Craig is survived by his son, Eric Fisher, his wife Lori and three grandsons, Tyler, Chase, and Luke.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, January 24th after 9:30 am followed by his Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. His internment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Christ’s Home Retirement Community, 1 Shepherd’s Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
