David Fitzpatrick of Hatboro passed away on February 9th at Abington Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
He was the beloved partner & significate other Chris Largioll with whom shared 36 years of love and adventure. He was born in Abington, Pa the son of late Edward Fitzpatrick and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (nee Battersby)
After graduating William Tennent High School, David joined various firehouses and volunteered to help the community. He was with the Willow Grove firehouse fire police and Enterprise Firehouse as Fire Police Captain, and Montgomery County Fire Police, and was 1st. Asst. Fire Police Commissioner; he enjoyed helping everyone in the community.
David enjoyed his position at Sterling Limo, where he did Twic work (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and drove many clients; he also spent many years working at Gamburgs furniture. David liked to travel, was a Mummer in the Fancy Brigade (Golden Crown). He was a Nascar Fan going to many racing events and he enjoyed spending time with his Firehouse buddies at the Enterprise Fire Co.
He will be remembered as a gentle, kind and funny man; He is loved and will be deeply missed.
David is Survived by his Chris, Brother Edward James Fitzpatrick Jr. (Carol), Brother Raymond Fitzpatrick (Candice Sister Mary (Greg) and late Colleen Claggett, many Nieces, and Nephews and Cousins.
David chose to be cremated and not have a service. "He said "Its to cold to come out, so stay inside and stay warm" Always thinking of others.
