David E. Harney

David E. Harney of Horsham passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2022 in his home at the age of 74. He was the beloved husband of Lori Odeitus Harney with whom he shared nearly 5 wonderful years of marriage. David was born in Flint, Michigan in 1947. David was the oldest of seven born to the late Jack Harney and Lucille Williams Harney. 
After graduating High School, David went on to study Chemistry at George Mason University. Following graduation David enlisted in the Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal following his Honorable Discharge. Throughout his professional life, David used his background in Chemistry to become a battery engineer. His expertise led to his being cited as an inventor on multiple US Patents. In his free time, David enjoyed playing guitar, watching the Eagles, and traveling with his wife. 
Relatives and friends are will be received by his family on Thursday September 22nd from 6 pm-7 pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N.
