David Meehl Obituary

David Warren Meehl, of Hatboro, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. He was 91 years old. David was the loving husband of the late May E. Meehl (nee Huster). Born in Rockledge, he was a son of the late William and Mabel (nee Green) Meehl.

David is survived by his children, David W. Meehl (Karen) and Donna C. Farra (Jerry); his grandchildren, Matthew (Nicole), Bill, Michael, Jennifer, Eric, and Tyler; and his great-grandchild, Brooke. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bill.

David proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a coach in the local Little League and enjoyed many crafts, including wood working and model trains. David also cherished traveling and spending time at Ocean City, New Jersey, where he enjoyed boating, surf fishing, and spending time with his wife, May. He was a devout member of St. John’s Anglican Church. David loved his family, especially his late wife, May, and will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 after 10:00 am until the time of his Funeral Service at 11:00 am in St. John’s Anglican Church, 1150 Bristol Road, Southampton, PA 18966. His interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church at the above address.
