David G. Vogler

David G. Vogler of Philadelphia passed away on March 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  He was 61 years old.  David was the beloved husband of Maryann (nee Smith) Vogler with whom he had shared over 37 years of marriage.  He was born in Philadelphia the son of Elizabeth C. Vogler and the late John D. Vogler.

In addition to his wife and mother, David is survived by his children; Kaitlin Angiolillo and her husband Brian, David J. and his fiancée Gina , and Kristin (Ryan), his grandchildren; Maggie, Connor, Ronan, Chase, Luke, Declan, his sister; Donna McCloskey (Joe), his father-in-law; Joseph Smith and his dear in-laws; Joe (Linda), Paul (Terry), Therese (Bill), Kathy (Bob), Patty (Rich), Denise (Dan) and Eileen, and many loving nieces and nephews.    

David was a kind, hardworking, generous, fun-loving husband, dad, pop and friend.  He was an Eagle Scout who worked for forty years for The First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Common Pleas Court. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at the beach. He was an avid hockey fan and had a great love for music.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Friday, April 8, 2022 after 9:00 a.m. until his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. James Roman Catholic Church, 8320 Brookside Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027.  His interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to The Kevin from Heaven Foundation, http://www.kevinfromheaven.org/donate/
