Day Elizabeth Kopack

Day Elizabeth Kopack of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 19^th, 2023 at 82 years of age.  Day was born in Abington, Pennsylvania, the only child of late Leonard J and Elizabeth C Schneider.  Day was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School’s class of 1958 and was a member of the field hockey team.

She is survived by her loving children, Debra Day Geissler, Adelbert Thomas Kopack, Julia Elizabeth Kopack-Mead and her husband Terry, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

While raising her children, Day taught as a Sunday school teacher at Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.  Day was the co-owner of the family-owned Hatboro Hardware which closed in 1987.  Day took pride in her responsibilities and contributions in Abington Hospital’s Radiology Department.  Day worked as a radiology technician and retired as a mammographer in 2010.  She also enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with her family, and caring for animals.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Merorial Service on Saturday, April 22, 2023 in Schneider Fuenral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA at 11:00 a.m.  Her interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Day’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org) or the ASPCA – www.ASPCA.org)
