Deacon Daniel J. Rouse

Deacon Daniel J. Rouse of Warminster, PA passed away on June 2, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. Dan is survived by his wife of 60 years, Susan Rouse and their four loving children: Timothy Rouse, Jeanine Miller and her husband Bob Miller, Jennifer Smith and her husband Raymond Smith, Jessica Kerrigan and her husband Tom Kerrigan and eight grandchildren: Meghan and her husband Daniel, Matthew and his wife Kristen, Rachael, Grayson, Nia, Sean, Kevin, Nicole and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Catherine Rouse and his brother James Rouse and his wife Elinor (Chickie) Rouse.

For forty years, Dan worked for Wells Fargo Bank achieving the level of Regional Vice President. He was the President of the Warminster Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of Lower Bucks Hospital, and member of the Warminster Rotary Club. Dan worked tirelessly with many different organizations to lead the way in bringing the regional rail line to Warminster. He was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on June 3, 1990 and served the parishioners of St. John Bosco. He also served as business manager for St. John of the Cross in Roslyn and St. John Bosco in Hatboro. Dan enjoyed being surrounded by his family, trips to the Jersey Shore, and a wee bit of Jameson Irish Whiskey. He laughed easily, gave generously, and led by good example.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, June 17, 2023 in St. John Bosco Church, 235 E. County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 after 8:30 a.m. followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. After Mass all are welcome to a luncheon in the parish hall. His interment will be private.
