Denise L. Leh 72, passed away Wednesday July 30th 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and more bingo prizes than anyone could possibly count.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Richard Michael and Jeanette (Miller) Michael and the cherished sister of Jeffrey Michael and the late Richard Michael.
She is survived by her devoted husband Richard, with whom she shared nearly 40 wonderful years of marriage; her beloved sons Richard and Christopher (Michelle) Kinsler; and her adored grandchildren CJ and Jesica Kinsler. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law Polly Ann Lodise; her sisters-in-law Katharine Mary Lodise and Debra Michael; and her dearest friend Marina McCormac; along with many nieces, nephew, cousins, friends & neighbors, who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her father-in-law Anthony Lodise.
Raised in Roslyn, Pennsylvania, Denise was a 40-year resident of Hatboro, PA. She worked a combined 30+ years at Prudential and The Hartford.
Denise was the heart of her family. She had a knack for making everyone feel at home, whether it was during holidays, birthdays, or another celebration. Her kitchen was a place of love, filled with the aroma of her famous cooking including her homemade mac and cheese, always made in double batches for the kids & grandkids.
She was a caretaker in every sense of the word—always ready to help when needed, always welcoming others with open arms and a warm smile. Denise was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished friend, and doting Mummum. She loved her family fiercely and celebrated them at every opportunity.
Outside the home, Denise enjoyed camping, fishing, cruising, and spending time in Atlantic City. She was known for her remarkable bingo skills. Rarely did she leave the bingo hall without a prize in hand. An avid sports fan, she loved her Phillies and Eagles. Denise was a great storyteller, delighting family and friends by retelling funny family memories.
While her presence can never be replaced, the joy and love Denise shared will continue to shine through her family, friends, and neighbors. She will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the way she made every moment special.
Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday, August 8, 2025 after 11:00 a.m. followed by her Memorial Service at 12:00 pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, PA. Her interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in Denise’s memory may be made to The American Cancer Society HERE.
