Diana E. Slampyak

Diana Elizabeth Slampyak of Warminster, PA, passed away on June 27, 2025.  She was 58 years old.  Diana was born in Abington, PA, the daughter of the late Steve and Elizabeth Slampyak.

She is survived by her brothers; Ted Kinyak and his wife Jennifer, and Steven Slampyak and his wife Ianina; a niece, Coco Kinyak and a nephew, Jinja Kinyak, and her feline companions Totoro and Kanta.

Diana attended Florida Atlantic University for her BA, New Mexico State University for her Master's, and earned her PHD from University of California Riverside in Medieval Studies.  She lived much of her life in California.

Diana enjoyed being a copywriter and a teacher who was beloved by her students. She did some acting in indie films and also on stage. She was a fan of My Neighbor Totoro, other Japanese Cinema, and Hello Kitty. She returned to Pennsylvania in 2012 after the death of her Mother to help care for and support her father.  Diana also enjoyed doting on her cats.

Her Services and  interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers memorials in Diana’s memory may be made to Animal Humane Society (https://www.animalhumanesociety.org)
