Dolores M. Herwig of Warminster passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was 87 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late George W. Herwig, Jr. Born in Philadelphia a daughter of the late Adam and Emily Engelmann.
Dolores was a 66 year resident of Warminster and had worked for the Warminster Kmart for over 30 years. She was known to be a social Butterfly and a Bookaholic. Dolores loved her feline friends but always put her family’s needs in front of hers.
Dolores is survived by her children, Diane Tierney ( the late Edward), David Herwig (Cindy), Barbara Ashley (Steven) and Susan Herwig, Nine grandchildren, Debby Hawkey, Nicole Davitt (Michael), Justin Herwig (Ashley), John Tierney, Matthew Couch (Sarah), Heather Tierney, Rachael Couch, Sean Ashley, Nine Great grandchildren, Ryer and Cole Hawkey, Claire, Emily and Charlotte Davitt, Joey Scudieri, Bentley Ashley, Weston and Lincoln Herwig. Dolores was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Ashley.
Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Thursday, May 30th after 10:00 a.m. in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 505 N. York Road and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Her interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
