Dolores Noel

Dolores “Dee” Noel died peacefully at Paoli Hospital on March 2, 2026.  She was 93 years old.  Dolores was born in Reading PA March 27,1932 and she moved to Philadelphia where she Graduated from Dobbins High School and then began working as a secretary. She married James Hampson in 1952 and had four children. They divorced in 1969. In 1972, she married Joseph “Jack” Noel. They remained married until Jack’s death in 2012.

Her career included being a secretary, a receptionist, and an operator with Bell Telephone. She went on to have jobs in retail and tax preparation but her most loved career was as an entertainer. 

Her true passion was to sing Alongside her beloved husband Jack, she sang with their group, The Added Touch, and several big bands, She wrote Plays and skits for Northeast Catholic Parents Associations, Northeast Phila. Senior Center. Dolores never stopped learning and always enjoyed a good joke especially if it involved embarrassing her family.

Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack.  She is survived by her children Margie Rybar, Jim Hampson and his wife Maja, Pat Hampson and his wife Linda along with one other Daughter, her stepchildren: Alicia Oxenhorn and the late Barry, and Janice Jaffee and her husband Jacob, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends will be received by Dolores’ family on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 after 9:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro followed by her Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m.  Her interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials in Dolores memory may be made to Exton Senior Living, 600 N Pottstown Pike, Exton, PA 19341
