Obituary

Donald H. Brady, Sr., of Warminster, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was 85 years old. Donald was the loving husband of Marjorie A. Brady (nee Riggs) with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James C. and Kathryn (nee Stoll) Brady.

Donald graduated from Germantown High School and Dobbins Tech. Following graduation, he worked as a machinist and a foreman for over 40 years at Derbyshire Machine and Tool Co. in Philadelphia and at Valvco Inc. in Ivyland, PA until he retired in 2011. Donald coached the Hauer-Smith American Legion Baseball in Warminster from 1975 until 1986. He loved everything about golf, and would do so often during the many winters he and Marjorie spent down at their winter home in the Villages, Florida.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his sons, Donald H. Brady, Jr. and Scott E. Brady (Kim); his grandchildren, Brooke Rapson (Marc), Doug, Paige, Bryan, Dylan, and Annie Brady; and his great-grandchildren, Madyson, Elena, MJ, and Cole. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends. Donald was also predeceased by his brother, James C. Brady, Jr.

Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 after 10:00 am until the time of his Memorial Service at 11:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. His interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Warminster Baseball Don Brady Sr. Memorial Fund, PO Box 2024, Warminster, PA 18974. The memorial fund is set up through the Warminster Police and Fire Federal Credit Union.
