Edward Francis Sheridan Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Warminster, PA on Friday May 19, 2023. He was 79 years old. Ed was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 27, 1943 to Edward F. Sheridan Sr. and Marion Sheridan nee Hinkel. Ed grew up in the Olney section of Philadelphia, PA and attended St. Helena’s Grade School and Cardinal Dougherty High School. Ed continued his education and attended Thomas Edison College. While working full time at RCA, he took night classes at Rutgers University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance Management. After years at RCA, he switched jobs and began working at Lockheed Martin where he ultimately retired from.
Ed’s favorite place to be was Ocean City, NJ. He loved cars, bowling, caring for his lawn and watching the Phillies. Ed may have been a picky eater but what he did eat, he loved. (Mashed potatoes, burgers, fries, peanut butter and raw butter). What Ed loved most of all, was spending quality time with his family, whether it was a backyard bbq, or making a holiday dinner. Family time was always time well spent.
Edward is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carol Anderson; His Children: Linda Sheridan, Michael Sheridan (Kimberly), Brian Sheridan, and Scott Anderson; His Grandchildren: Jessica Hammel (Kenneth III), Sean Sheridan (Elizabeth), Meghan Sheridan, Kyle Sheridan, and Madison Sheridan; His Great Grandchildren: Dominic Hammel, Novah Otero, and Aelin Otero; His Sisters: Rosemarie Rebar (Stephen), and Margaret Sheridan; His Sister-in-Laws: Maureen Simpkins (Wallace), Sandra Kaplan (Burt), Krista Anderson, and Judith Bigelow (Nick); and Brother-in-law Mark Anderson (Marybeth) Edward was predeceased by his Brother Leonard Sheridan and Sister Suzanne Mulvey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday May 24, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 P.M. in the Schneider Funeral Home located at 431 North York Rd Hatboro, PA 19040.
His interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery located at 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave. Philadelphia., PA. 19150
