Elizabeth Bierlin Obituary

Elizabeth K. Bierlin (Betsy) of Doylestown passed away on May 6, 2025 at Pine Run. She was 83. Betsy was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late William E. Bierlin, Jr.  Born in Philadelphia, Betsy was the daughter of the late Philip and Phyllis Keidel.

Betsy graduated from Ambler High School in 1959.  She was an Art History Major at Wilson College, Class of 1963.  She worked for a life insurance agency and the Girls Scouts of America after college.  Eventually, Betsy went back to school at Gwynedd Mercy College and earned a Master’s in Education, with a certification in high school Mathematics. 

Betsy was a member of Doylestown Country Club and a founding member of Lookaway Golf Club.  She spent over 30 years volunteering with Art Goes to School of Central Bucks.  She will be remembered for her love of dogs, art, and needlework.   

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Carolyn Cerasi (Domenic) and William E. Bierlin, III (Brianne) and granddaughter, Tallie Cerasi.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday, May 16th after 10:00 am at  St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 84 East Oakland Avenue, Doylestown, PA 18901 and are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 11:00 am. Her interment will be private.
