Emily Maute Obituary

Emily Maute of North Wales passed away on March 4, 2025 surrounded by her loving family, she was 90 years old. She was the beloved wife of George J. Maute with whom she had shared over 72 years of marriage. Emily was born in Abington to the late Albert and Bertha Worthington.

Emily really enjoyed ballroom dancing with George as well as bowling, camping and boating on lake Wallenpaupack. All of her favorite activities had one thing in common, spending time with her family in which she held dear to her heart.

In addition to her husband George, Emily is survived by her children, Patricia Ann (Maute) Ross and George J. Maute, Jr., six grandchildren, Stacey (Timothy) Robinson, Bruce (Jessica) Ross, Christina Ross, George(Lori) Maute, III, the late Paul Maute and Crystal (Larson) Smith. 12 great grandchildren, Codie Maute, Brittany Maute, Brandon Maute, Jillian Maute, Anthony Maute, Christopher Maute, Brendan (Ross) Jones, Paige Ross, Chase Ross, Faith Ross and Ryan GoUiran, one great great grandchild Ellie Maute and a sister Georgeann (Worthington) Licata.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, March 10th after 10:00 am in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 505 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Her interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Ambler. In lieu of flowers donations in Emily's name may be made to St John’s Memorial Music Fund, 505 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.
