Emilymarie Trotter Rominiecki

Emilymarie Trotter Rominiecki of Warwick and formerly of Philadelphia, died April 23, 2023.  She was 78 years old. Emilymarie was the beloved wife of Richard Rominiecki with whom she shared over 54 years of marriage.  She was born and raised in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late George and Emily Trotter.

In addition to her husband, Emilymarie is survived by her children, Amy and Michael Rominiecki.  She was the Mother-in-Love of Marcella Rominiecki Santana; Grandmother of Adonia Matthews, Jessica Rominiecki and Jordan Santana;  Great Grandmother of Amari, Josiah and Olivia; and the Mother-in-Law of Marshall Downing.  She is also survived by brothers George II, Michael, Matthew and Robert Trotter and sisters Kathleen McCann and Christine DeBelle and innumerable friends and relatives.

Emilymarie retired as the Director of Public Information for the City of Philadelphia, Office of Housing and Community Development, where she oversaw many changes in the city's housing policies and administrations.   She was a caring wife and mother who had a unique blend of compassion, humor and intellect.   Emilymarie was an avid Elvis fan, a devoted reader and crossword puzzler and enjoyed writing, especially editing.  She was a friend to all who knew her.

Emilymarie's Memorial Services will take place on May 20 in a private celebration of life.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Flower High Catholic H.S. for Girls, 1000 W. Lycoming St. Philadelphia., PA 19140.
