Fay Maurer Obituary

Fay Louise (Felker) Maurer of Hatboro, PA passed away on January 12, 2026, peacefully at home. She was 88. She was married to Carl Jacob Maurer for 59 years before his passing February 2017. She was born in Ashland, PA, the daughter of the late Robert Ardell Felker and Mae Spiece.

After graduating from Ashland High School, she worked in Harrisburg, PA. Fay worked various assembly jobs after she married and moved to the Hatboro area. She retired from RMI in Warminster, PA.  She was a dedicated Eagles fan. Fay also enjoyed traveling with her husband Carl; as well as her five brothers and their families. She loved attend her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events where she could be found cheering loudly from the stands.

Fay is survived by her daughter, Carla Maurer Waddington of Hatboro, PA, daughter-in-law, Beth Hockensmith Maurer-Minnich of Davenport, FL, four grandchildren, Kyle Maurer and his wife Hannah of Davenport, FL, Brittany (Waddington) D’Agostino and her husband Will of Whispering Pines, NC, Lindsay (Waddington) Jacobs and her husband Michael of Dallas,TX, Victoria (Waddington) Schiers and her husband Hunter of Charlotte, NC and her three great-grandchildren, Aurora Grace, Ella Fay and Theodore Michael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, with a special relationship with nephew, Rich Maurer and his wife Dawn of Jamison, PA along with their three daughters, Heidi, Hannah and Haley.

Fay was preceded in death by her husband Carl, her five brothers, Robert Felker and his wife Shirley of Ashland, PA, William Felker of Ashland, PA, Lou Felker and his wife Alice of Eagles Pass, TX, Donald Felker and his wife Anne of Ashland, PA and Wayne Felker of Summit Hill, PA and her son William Maurer.
