Frances Slider

Frances Slider of Hatboro passed away peacefully October 5, 2021 at the age of 95. She was born to John and Mary Russek in Middelport, PA. She met her beloved husband Robert “Bob” Slider while working at Nabisco in Philadelphia. She and Bob shared 62 loving years of marriage and raised 2 sons. She was an ardent Phillies and Eagles fan and loved watching games any chance she could. She will be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother, a loving sister and devoted “Nanny” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She shared many special years and memories with her daughter-in-law Michelle. She loved a good party especially with polka music.

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob; two sons, Randy and Dale; 4 brothers, John, Frank, Tony and Joseph; 7 sisters, Mary, Genevieve, Anne, Veronica, Josephine, Joan and Hedy.

Frances is survived by her loving daughter-in-law Michelle Slider; two sisters Cele and Wanda; three grandchildren, Cheri, Donna and Randy and 6 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Frances’ viewing at Schneider Funeral Home 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 on Saturday October 9th from 9:30-10:30 am with service to immediately follow. Frances’ internment at White Marsh Cemetery, 1169 Lime Kiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 will follow the service.
