George J. Piermont, Jr., of Warminster, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband for over 50 years to the late Joan (nee Franklin) Piermont. He was born in Philadelphia, a son of the late George, Sr. and Mary (nee Owens) Piermont.
George was a graduate of Northeast High School. In his early years, he loved art and drawing. He also developed a love for movies and television and a special fondness for the comedic talents of The Three Stooges. George began his working career at Sears, Roebuck and Company with the sales and advertising team where he was able to make use of his artistic talents. After working a few years, he enlisted and served his country for four years in the United States Navy where he enjoyed traveling throughout Europe until being Honorably Discharged. After his marriage to Joan, George began his career as a Sales Representative for the Philadelphia Inquirer. He spent his retirement years with his beloved family and leisure time watching the Philadelphia sports teams on television, especially the Phillies.
George is survived by his daughter, LeeAnn Camut along with her husband, Michael; his grandchildren, Jonathan and Carly Camut; and his granddog, Buttercup. George was also preceded in death by his baby daughter, Mary Piermont.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Monday, January 24th after 10:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro until the time of his Prayer Service at 11:00 am. His interment immediately will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
