H. Tagmire Obituary

H. Grace S. Tagmire, a 43-year resident of Horsham, and seven year resident of Warrington, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2016. She was 89. Grace was the beloved wife of the late George E. Tagmire; and former wife of Richard G. Stephens and James A. Chambers Jr. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Edna Shayhorn.

Grace was the dear mother of Susan M. Misjuns (OJ), and James J. Chambers (Marian), stepmother of Karen T. Hohenstein (John); grandmother of 11; and great grandmother of eight. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Anne Lynde.

She was employed with the Metlab Company in Wyndmoor, Pa., as a bookkeeper, and was administrative vice president for Pioneer Life Insurance Company for 20 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9 and until 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, and may attend her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham. Interment will follow in Hatboro Cemetery. Mass Cards preferred. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Grace's name may be made to Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA 18951, or to the Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741.
