Helen E. Kern

Helen E. Kern (Zahn)  passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late William Kern with whom she had share 7 years of marriage. She was born in Cheltenham, Pa a daughter of the late Kurth Zahn and Kathryn (Solomon) Zahn.

Helen was a long time resident of Rockledge, Chalfont and Souderton, PA. She worked at Sears and Roebucks for over 20 years, retiring to help her husband run his family's business. In Helen’s later years she was a secret shopper and loved every moment of it. She spent eight years at Gloria Dei Memory Care at the Park, Hatboro where she enjoyed her art and her love of music and a lover of hats, never being seen with out wearing one. Helen enjoyed the mountains and the shore spending as much time as she could at both.

Having no children Helen is survived by many step grandchildren and is preceded in death by her husband’s Arthur Danz, James Esposito and William Kern.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Helen’s Graveside Service on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 10:00 in Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s name to Gloria Dei Memory Care at the Park, 3455 Davisville Road, Hatboro, PA 19040
