Inita A. Rusis, 84, died peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer & pneumonia, Friday, September 13, 2024 at home surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Rīga, Latvia, she was the daughter of the late Edvins & Marita Graudiņš Mednis, wife of the late Armīns I. Rusis, twin sister of the late Aiga Pupons and her beloved late brother Edmars Mednis.
There is no question that unconditional love exists. Inita embodied it. Her true love existed for the two loves of her life: her husband Armīns & son Paulitis. And, of course, not far behind, her siblings' families: her 6 nieces & nephews, their spouses along with their 12 children.
We all know Inita was set in her ways. However, she knew what she knew, liked what she liked; simple as that. Inita had a passion for the color purple & books. But most strongly, she prioritized her family. Inita was known for her generosity in gifts, personal attention & the time for each individual in her extended family. She was a New York City girl who attained a Masters in Library Science, and was a head librarian in Bucks County, NYC and Chevy Chase (MD). Inita was private, an enjoyed gatherings and was an amazing mother of Pauls E. Rusis, and his wife Becky (an, grand-dobie Mia)...
Her viewing will be on Saturday, September 21st from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431. N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Her interment will be private.
