Jack Saxer Obituary

Jack Saxer of Hatboro passed away on April 30, 2026.  He was 72.  He was the loved husband of Bonnie Saxer with whom he shared 51 years of marriage and friendship.  He was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the son of Theodore Earl Saxer and Beatrice Louellen Farris.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his daughter, Joanna Black and her husband Edmund of Horsham and his son, Jesse Saxer and his wife, Janeen of Hatboro.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chloe, Cora, and Leighton.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Tim and Tom, and his grandson, Conner.

Prior to his passing, Jack worked as an inspector at Validus, Inc. for over 28 years.  Above all else, Jack cherished spending time with his dog, Libby.  He also enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, Sunday dinners and vacations with family.  He took pleasure in helping friends and family with car repairs and home projects.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, May 6th from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro.  His interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Friends of the Borough Dam at Doylestown Borough Hall, 10 Doyle Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.  Donations can also be made via GoFundMe HERE.
